James Shores for County Commissioner

I have been in Public Safety for over thirty-five (35) years.  I started at age 14 by volunteering at a local volunteer fire department. Even in high school, my devotion to volunteering and serving my community grew more and more. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as soon as I graduated high school and served my country as a combat infantryman in the Gulf War and Somalia. After leaving active duty, I started my career in law enforcement and continued to volunteer with various rescue squads, fire departments, and community groups to continue serving my community. I feel it is my destiny to continue serving the citizens as their voice. It is for this reason I am dedicated to becoming a Davidson County Commissioner.
